A tiny house in the heart of Posázaví
This is roughly how it happened.
The story of Svárov
Our glamping site sits at the very end of the Svárov cottage colony, almost entirely on its own, surrounded by a beautiful landscape of pine and mixed forest. Close by is the historic Svárov pond, documented in records going back as far as 1525. Svárov was originally known for its granite quarry, worked for stone in the 19th century, and the stone was also used to build a hunting lodge here. The lodge served as a countryside retreat of the Komorní Hrádek estate, which later became part of the Konopiště estate. It is said that the lodge was used by Franz Ferdinand d’Este himself, who lived at nearby Konopiště Castle and always held this landscape dear.

It was intentional
Libor and his partner Chris joined forces and had already created one special place in Wallachia (Valašsko). When several guests got in touch to say they would love to come back but could not because it was fully booked, we started looking for a second site. We chose Posázaví and the settlement of Svárov for several reasons. We believe this place brings together history and the calm of nature, offering a quiet retreat for anyone who loves peace, unhurried time and a touch of the past. The nearby Posázavský Pacifik railway line gives the place its own atmosphere and connects it well with the surrounding area.

Many talented people
We are lucky to have many gifted and exceptional people around us. Thanks to them, we are able to open places like this one. Everyone who has a skill pitches in. Our resident art carpenter, Thomas Skot, is one of those talents. His work runs through the whole site: everything is made using a joinery technique that needs no screws to hold the furniture together.
The pieces simply fit into one another.
The tiny house on wheels was built by Libor and his company Nova dům (opens in a new window), and its distinctive interior was designed by architects Lukáš Foltýn (opens in a new window) and Dominik Rejthar (opens in a new window). We plan to develop the exterior further with garden architect Helena Stašová. With this tiny house, our focus was above all on undisturbed comfort. We want people who come here to relax not to have to worry about a thing. We believe we have managed that.
In summary
Our glamping is not only about comfortable accommodation in nature; it is about creating an unforgettable experience that goes beyond expectations. We want every guest to leave feeling they have experienced something truly special, something that enriched and inspired them. Our aim is for every visitor to find their own place of calm and rest, away from the everyday rush and stress. We try to create surroundings that offer comfort and a touch of luxury while also supporting inner balance and a connection with nature. Every detail, from the design of the accommodation to the carefully chosen activities and services, is meant to add to an overall sense of wellbeing and inspiration.
